Mike joined CEAS as its Investment Manager in 2013, launching an internal venture capital fund for the family office. He was and remains responsible for the full cycle of early and growth stage investing in non-public tech companies.
In 2017, Mike was promoted to Chief Investment Officer where he now confers with the principal on strategy and manager selection across all asset classes while managing the investment team.
Previously, he worked as a client-facing financial advisor at a Potomac, MD-based boutique private wealth management firm. Mike graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Economics and Spanish, was an All-American soccer player, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Amherst Athletics. Mike earned his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, during which time he devised a quant college football investing strategy.
Chief Investment Officer
Ronnie Johnson is a Venture Capital Analyst at CEAS. She is responsible for seeking out, analyzing and recommending potential seed-level venture capital investments as well as analyzing and reporting on various aspects of portfolio companies and the venture capital industry. Ronnie has led investments in portfolio companies Holos and Synapse.
Ronnie is a graduate of the University of Miami where she graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration with majors in International Finance & Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She captained the women's soccer team her senior year and was named to the All-ACC Academic team twice.
